With hygiene being of the utmost of importance within the food and pharmaceutical industry, the manufacturing of our food and pharmaceutical grade bulk bags / FIBC bags are produced by technically trained staff within a state-of-the-art hygiene room.

The manufacturing and stringent inspection process of our food and pharmaceutical grade bulk bags includes the use of stainless steel & ultra-sonic cutting equipment, air washing systems, metal detectors and ultraviolet light tables to ensure no loose thread or foreign body contamination occurs.

Once the manufacturing and inspection process has been completed our food and pharmaceutical grade bulk bags are seal packed onto pallets, fully protecting them from outside contamination.

Option 5 – Liners

Liners are available to use within all bulk bags and are used to prevent outside moisture contamination. Liners can be applied to bulk bags by either loose insertion, sewn in or glued to the outer bag.

Option 6 – Fabric Type:

• Uncoated – breathable woven polypropylene fabric, allows air and water flow.
• Coated – laminated with a polypropylene film, used to prevent moisture intrusion and sifting of the contents.

Option 7 – Coloured Fabric:

If you’re wanting your building bags to stand out from the crowd or want to identify product content by the colour of your bag then having a bag made from a fabric in any colour of your choice as an alternative to the standard white fabric is a fantastic solution.

Option 8 – Safe Working Load (SWF):

Depending on what the content is you’re filling your bag with you can choose from a safe working load between 250kg right up to 2000kg.

Option 9 – Safety Factor (SF):

• 5:1 (Single Trip) – This option is for bags that are only intended to be used once only.
• 6:1 (Multi Trip) – If you are looking to re-use your bag than this is the safest option.

Option 10 – Colour Printing Service:

Our printing service is available on all our builder’s bags, so if you’re for a high impact, cost effective marketing solution for your business Jimpex UK Packaging can provide printed builder’s bags with up to 4 colours on 1 to 4 sides.
